UAE gold, silver prices extend gains in final trading session of the week

Gold and silver prices in the UAE rose during trading on Friday, the final session of the week, extending gains recorded in the previous session amid continued strength in precious metals.
The price of 24-carat gold increased to AED 526.25 per gram from AED 518 during Thursday's trading, a rise of AED 8.25. The price of 22-carat gold rose to AED 487.25 per gram, while 21-carat gold reached AED 467.25 per gram and 18-carat gold climbed to AED 400.50 per gram. The price of silver also increased to AED 7.85 per gram, while an ounce was priced at AED 244.29.
