Villagers vow to kill wolf for killing their sheep

Residents of a tiny village in Saudi Arabia have formed a team to stalk a wolf and kill it after it killed many of their sheep during night raids on their farms.

Cattle owners of Shatei village in the western province of Al Aroydat near Makkah said they would not rest until they hunt that wolf.

Sabq newspaper said the farmers created that force after the latest swoop by the wolf on their farms this week resulted in the killing of three sheep.

“The farmers found three dead sheep as the wolf appeared to have killed them without eating them….they decided to stalk and kill the wolf which has caused them have losses over the past months,” it said.
