Printer manufacturer Xerox sees a higher adoption of managed print services in the Gulf as it helps CIOs cut costs and control IT expenditure. The technology firm has also seen this trend for managed printing services in Saudi Arabia compared to other parts of the Middle East, Tim Gould, Director-Xerox MEA Global Services told Emirates Business at the ongoing Gulf Print exhibition in Dubai. Xerox has been working on the managed services model in the region for sometime now and the firm has seen a high uptake for the outsourced model in Saudi Arabia. "Managed services is taken strongly by telecom and also a lot of multinational companies out of Europe and America. When they set up offices in the region they want to carry forward their managed service contracts to the Middle East. Even for our business partners it becomes a key differentiator."
