Seville: Barcelona strengthened their position at the top of LaLiga with a 3-1 away victory over Sevilla on Saturday.
The win extended Barcelona's lead to six points over second-placed Real Madrid, who are due to face Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Elsewhere in Spain, Osasuna drew 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano, while Athletic Bilbao and Alaves played out a goalless draw. Celta Vigo recorded their first win of the season in emphatic fashion, beating Racing Santander 5-0.
In Italy, Lazio defeated Venezia 2-0 away from home in Matchweek 5 of Serie A to move onto 13 points.
The result left Venezia rooted to the bottom of the table after suffering a fifth consecutive defeat and remaining without a point this season.
In another Serie A fixture, Roma and Inter Milan shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, leaving both teams unbeaten on 13 points, with Roma ahead on goal difference.
