Merck seeks €1bn loan to acquire Millipore. (SUPPLIED)
Merck, the German chemical and drugmaker, buying US biotechnology equipment firm Millipore, and is syndicating a €1 billion (Dh5.1bn) loan to finance the deal. Merck offered banks initial interest of 165 basis points more than benchmark rates.
