Priyanka Chopra's baddest de-glam avatar in 'Jai Gangaajal' [video]

The trailer of 'Jai Gangaajal' has been launched and looks like Indian actor Priyanka Chopra is ending her year in a high. She will be seen playing a tough cop and boy she does impress us all.

In a completely de-glam avatar, and with crisp, impactful Hindi, Priyanka owns every frame in 'Jai Gangaajal' trailer.

The film explores the relationship between society and police force, and is set in central India.

Priyanka plays Abha Mathur, a law-abiding cop putting up a valiant fight against village goons and local politicians. We also see her trying to motivate her colleagues who’ve lost their faith in the system.

After playing an FBI agent in US TV series 'Quantico' and the vulnerable Kashibai in 'Bajirao Mastani', we thought Chopra couldn't do anything else this year to cement her position in the film industry, but this trailer made us rethink that.

Playing a tough cop in this sequel to Prakash Jha's 'Gangaajal' starring Ajay Devgn, perhaps the biggest compliment one can give Chopra is the fact that Devgn isn't missed.

The film also marks the acting debut of director Jha and Manav Kaul plays the antagonist in the film.

'Jai Gangaajal' is set to be released on 3 March, 2016 in the UAE.
